RICK'S MOTORSPORT ELECTRIC starter motor, model 61-603, is designed for Kymco applications. The unit addresses a common issue found in many OEM starter motors, where an unprotected output needle bearing is positioned outside the output shaft seal and may be exposed to moisture entering the motor's output cap.
This starter motor uses a double-sealed ball bearing with the output shaft seal positioned on the outside of the bearing. This design helps protect the bearing from damaging water entry, while the sealed ball bearing is replaceable. Manufacturer and vendor part number: 61-603. Fitment: Kymco.
