The RICK'S MOTORSPORT ELECTRIC Hot Shot rectifier/regulator is a universal 14 V unit designed for single-phase systems and lithium-ion battery applications. It has a 14 V +/- .2 V set point and uses MOSFET technology in a 50 A design. Ballistic Performance Batteries are recommended for use with this rectifier/regulator. For lithium-ion batteries from other manufacturers, contact the battery manufacturer to confirm that the product's set point is compatible.
This rectifier/regulator is supplied with wire leads only. Installation requires connecting the original equipment plug to the regulator harness by soldering, and some harness fabrication will be needed.
