The RICKS 14-409 regulator/rectifier is designed for use with lithium ion polymer and lithium iron phosphate batteries. Its lower voltage set point, compared with an OE regulator/rectifier, helps support safe charging and virtually eliminates the possibility of over-voltage charging conditions that can damage lithium batteries.
