The Brembo Serie Oro 78B40887 floating front brake rotor is designed for reliable, consistent braking performance on select KTM Adventure motorcycles. It combines a stainless-steel braking band with a CNC-machined and anodized aluminum-alloy hub. This construction helps deliver a responsive braking feel while supporting durability during demanding street and adventure riding conditions.
Specially developed machining tolerances allow the Brembo rotor to transmit braking torque efficiently and resist thermal and mechanical stress. The floating rotor design allows the braking band and hub to respond independently to heat, helping promote stable performance through repeated braking. This product is manufactured by Brembo and uses manufacturer part number 78B40887, also identified by vendor part number 78B40887.
Fitment includes the 2013–2016 KTM 1190 Adventure, 2014–2015 KTM 1190 Adventure R, 2017 KTM 1290 Super Adventure T, and 2018–2020 KTM 1290 Super Adventure S. Confirm motorcycle year, model, and existing brake-system specifications before installation. Professional installation is recommended to ensure correct rotor alignment, fastener torque, and proper brake-system operation.
