BOYESEN 12 Watercraft Power Reeds are performance-enhancing OEM replacement reed petals designed for selected Kawasaki watercraft applications. The patented dual-stage design uses a specially shaped top reed and a ported bottom reed to support responsive operation across the engine’s powerband.
The lightweight, resilient top reed is designed to provide crisp throttle response at low to mid RPM, while the stiffer, ported bottom reed is designed to support increased airflow and horsepower at higher RPM. The multi-port design creates additional channels for the charge, helping increase velocity to the intake ports. The dual-stage reeds work together to respond quickly and accurately to changes in engine pressure, supporting quicker acceleration, crisper throttle response and increased horsepower throughout the powerband.
The design allows replacement of the stock reed stop with a Rev-Plate, permitting the reeds to open freely and function efficiently.
