The Alpinestars SM7 Deed off-road helmet is designed for racing and demanding trail use, combining advanced impact protection, ventilation, comfort, and aerodynamic performance. This Medium helmet features a multi-layer composite shell made from fiberglass, carbon, and aramid fiber. The construction is engineered to balance force dissipation, energy absorption, sliding performance, structural stability, and durability while maintaining a lightweight feel. Its streamlined shell profile is free of external channels and protrusions that could become load points during an impact, while the curved shape helps reduce friction and promote efficient energy deflection.
Ventilation is provided by 20 dedicated intake and exhaust ports, including 13 intake ports and 7 exhaust ports, to help manage airflow during off-road riding. The A-Head Fitment system allows the top pad height to be adjusted for a more personalized fit. Removable, washable liners use antimicrobial-treated fabrics, and interchangeable cheek pads are available in multiple thicknesses to help fine-tune comfort across the helmet's shell sizes. The 3D cheek pads include an emergency extraction system, a hydration-tube channel, and integrated communication-system compatibility with speaker recesses on both sides.
Protection features include Alpinestars PLASMA technology integrated into the lower side pads to improve shock absorption in the collarbone contact area. The Visor Detaching System is designed to release the visor when impact energy exceeds 15 joules, helping reduce potential helmet loading regardless of impact direction. The 25 mm nylon chin strap uses stainless steel double-D rings and removable covers for cleaning. The crown and neck pads are elastically connected to support oblique-impact management. Finished in Gloss Red/Black/White, this Alpinestars SM7 helmet is intended for off-road racing and compatible applications requiring a Medium fit.
