The Alpinestars SM7 Core helmet is engineered for off-road racing and demanding riding conditions. This Small helmet features a lightweight multi-layer composite shell made from fiberglass, carbon, and aramid fiber to balance impact protection, force dissipation, sliding performance, energy absorption, stability, durability, ventilation, and comfort. Its aerodynamic shell profile is smooth and streamlined, minimizing external load points while promoting controlled deflection during an impact. The matte orange and blue finish provides a distinctive appearance without compromising the helmet’s performance-focused design.
Fitment: The Alpinestars SM7 Core is designed to fit off-road riders seeking a secure, adjustable helmet with advanced comfort and protection features. The A-Head system allows the removable top pad to be adjusted for a more personalized fit, while interchangeable cheek pads are available across all shell sizes to further customize fit and comfort. The 25 mm nylon chin strap uses stainless steel double-D rings and removable covers for convenient cleaning. The helmet is compatible with communication systems through integrated speaker recesses and an EPS cutaway, and it includes channels for hydration tube installation.
Ventilation is provided through 20 individual intake and exhaust ports, including 13 intake ports and 7 exhaust ports, to support airflow during strenuous riding. Removable, hand-washable liners use antimicrobial-treated fabrics, while the crown and neck pads are elastically connected to assist with oblique impact management. Three-dimensional cheek pads incorporate an emergency extraction system and a hydration tube channel. Alpinestars PLASMA technology is integrated into the lower side pads to support shock absorption in the collarbone area. The Visor Detaching System is designed to release the visor when subjected to impact energy greater than 15 joules, helping reduce stress on the helmet during impacts from various directions.
