The ACERBIS 2676180001 black skid plate is a next-generation sub-engine protector designed for select Honda CRF250L models. Made from high-strength, impact-resistant plastic with an integrated fin, it helps protect the shock absorber linkage, chassis, engine, side housings and water pump from stones, earth, mud and other natural obstacles.
The integrated fin is designed to shield the shock absorber linkage while allowing the motorcycle to slide smoothly over obstacles. Its shape promotes close adherence to the linkage, while the flexible, lightweight plastic helps reduce vibration and surface damage to the chassis and engine. Air intakes provide ventilation, reduce the entry of gravel, earth and mud, and help facilitate washing inside the skid plate.
Installation and removal use the motorcycle's original bindings, supporting intuitive assembly and disassembly for routine engine maintenance and washing. The skid plate is compatible with simultaneous use of the X-Power crankcase, ignition and clutch protection.
